The purpose of our study was the evaluation of epidemiological profile, the diagnosis, the therapeutic management and post-operative complications for patients suffering from parathyroid adenomas. This work is based on a retrospective study. Its propose is to discuss the results found of 07 patients operated for parathyroid adenoma at the department of Otolaryngology at the Hassan II University hospital of Fez, during a period of 04 years, from January 2010 to December 2014, based on the data collected from the clinical files of the patients. The average age of our patients was 48 with extremes of age of 26 and 77 years, with a female predominance (05 women to 02 men). The circumstances of discovery for this disease were various: like the etiological assessment of a bone tumor and the fortuitous discovery at the time of a cervical surgery. The clinical signs of hypocalcemia were found among 05 patients (asthenia, vomiting, polyuriapolydipsia syndrome, headache, and weight loss), while bone signs were found in 01 patient and renal events were found in 01 patient either. The value of blood-calcium among our patients was between 95 and 132 mg / l with an average of 108 mg / l. 06 patients presented high levels of parathormone with an average to 1281 pg/ml and extremes with 368 and 2264 pg/ml. The ultrasound revealed the parathyroid adenoma in 05 cases while it was not decisive in 02 cases. On the other hand, the scintigraphy was decisive for all the patients having benefited from this examination. All our patients benefited from a parathyroidectomy of pathological gland. 02 patients developed a transitory hypocalcemia. The evolution was marked by a normalization of the blood-calcium, and also a decrease in the level of parathormone estimated at 51,5 % compared to the initial average value, with extremes of 36.1 % and 77 %
