Le retentissement de l’acné sur la qualité de vie (échantillon d’une population marocaine)

Acne is a chronic disease that affects the quality of life of patients where the idea of assessing the QoL of patients with acne by the CADI questionnaire translated and validated in Moroccan dialect through dermatological consultation within CHU Hassan II FES. The objectives were firstly: translate, adapt culturally moroccan validate the questionnaire CADI and secondly : Have an epidemiological, clinical consultant acne patients in the dermatology department of CHU Hassan II of Fez, determine the degree of impairment of QoL in Moroccan acne then determine if there is a correlation between the scale ECLA and CADI questionnaire in patients seen in acne and finally determine the group of patients with impaired quality of life of acne. The final version of dialectal Arabic, was obtained as recommended by Beaton et al. The psychometric properties have been studied in patients with acne. The acceptability was satisfactory with a rejection rate of 0. The consistency was good with Cronbach ? coefficient of 0.75. The inter-observer reproducibility was good with ICC was 0.97 (95% CI [0.96 to 0.98]. Validation of the questionnaire CADI specific acne has allowed us to explore the impact of acne on QoL through a cross-sectional study in the service Dermatology CHU Hassan II FES over a period of 6 months. For the study population, 200 patients were identified as acne were collected on sociodemographic variables, the reason for consultation (acne or not) and some parameters related to acne (age at onset, family ATCD …) and 2 tools are met: Scale ECLA and CADI questionnaire validated in Moroccan dialect. QOL was obtained by calculating the mean scores of the dimensions of the CADI questionnaire ranging from 0 (worst quality of life) to 100 (best QOL). In this study the majority of patients were using NSE (76%) with a female predominance (82%), with a mean age of 23.84 +/- consultation was 4.412, that of the old early acne was 16.52 +/- 3.80. The average score was 8.41 +/- ECLA 4.77 versus 4.86 +/- 3.11 CADI score of QoL is that signifie32 4% of impaired QoL. The latter was especially affected women and patients with low NSE with significant results (p <0.05). QOL was correlated with the severity especially among women and patients with inflammatory lesions or scars. Moroccan Arabic dialect version CADI has satisfactory psychometric properties. It can be used in acne patients in Morocco.
