Automutilation génitale (A propos de 04 cas et revue de la littérature)

Genital self-mutilation is rare in the literature. They are often related to personality disorders, psychoses constitute more than 80% of cases of male genital self mutilation, the penis is the organ most affected. The management of this type of pathology necessarily requires a multidisciplinary intervention to prevent the sexual and urinary complications but also to correct and control psychiatric pathology. We report the largest serie of genital self-mutilation made with four cases of self-mutilation of the penis, collected at the urology department of the CHU Hassan II of Fez Regarding patients aged 54 respectively 35, 55 and 19 years all with psychiatric disorders never diagnosed or treated, two of them had schizophrenia and one of them had erectile dysfunction, both arriving to emergencies shocked , all having a complete section of the penis. The management of these patients was an urethrostomy in two patients and reimplantation in the two others. The evolution was marked by necrosis of the penis at the last 2 cases and thus an urethrostomy thereafter
